New Site for Malmesbury

Mindvision have just completed a new community portal for Malmesbury, Englands oldest borough and resting place of the first king of all England!

The new site has been developed to allow full community interaction by inviting users to post their own content. The aim is to build a central resource for the town and to encourage self promotion of local businesses, events, organisations, charities etc...

We are also developing a 'Malmesbury Gives You Wings' campaign (tongue in cheek), to coincide with the 1000 year anniversary of a famous Malmesbury resident 'Eilmer the Monk' who in the year 1010 jumped from the roof of Malmesbury Abbey with some remarkably effective home made wings fixed to his back! Yes the worlds first Base Jumper did actually fly making it the first recorded attempt of manned flight too!
